Recovering Dave Bridges in Tibet

Hi Friends,
Our lives turned bittersweet this week. After 17 years, my husband's brother, Dave Bridges, was discovered in the Tibetan Ice.

This means that Dan is going on an epic journey to lay his brother to rest and this includes a whole host of things. Dan will be hiking for over various ranges before he even gets to Shishapangma so they can adjust to the high altitude. Travel to Tibet is not easy. Permits and plane tickets must be bought, the basecamp they have to travel to is at 17,000 feet. This also means that Dan must train for a month in order to take the month long journey just to get to the place where they can recover the body. He will be going into a hyperbarric chamber to try and adjust before hand.
We are asking for your help with the travel costs to get Dan to Tibet in one month. We are emptying our savings but it will take much more than that to lay Dave to rest.
This would be closure for Dave and Alex's family in a way that we did not think would be possible. It means everything to us. Thank you so much for your support in this difficult time.
