Lorna-Marie Elkington nee Paki and I are Breyton's Aunty and Uncle. We have been close to this family and have loved this family for as long as I can remember (over 30+ years). Breyton IS a MASSIVE part of their identity as a family....He IS Funny, Handsome, Respectful, a Loyal Son/Brother/Cousin/Friend and ALWAYS made the most out of EVERY DAY!
It is with a heavy heart at this time we seek your help for our dear Horomona family as they prepare to farewell their son Breyton Tamati Horomona.
At the age of 15 Breyton suffered an allergic reaction and had been in an induced coma since Monday and did not recover from this. We sadly said our last goodbyes to Breyton on Saturday 16th July 2016.
We emplore you to please dig deep for this beautiful selfless family as they prepare to face the difficult journey ahead of grieving the loss of Breyton, and then moving forward as a family without him.
BREYTON lies with his family on the Gold Coast for the next few days as we CeleBREYT his life.
Breyton's parents, Riki and Alisa Horomona, made the GRANDEST of gestures when they decided to open their home and share of the essence and spirit of Breyton. Such a selfless act in a time of grief.
Hundreds of people have come through the home to pay respects, share their love, hugs, kisses, smiles and stories. It has been so incredible to hear how Breyton touched and enhanced so many peoples lives in his short time with us.
We will lay him to rest on Friday.
The funds that have been donated will be used to cover all of the Funeral Expenses and any excess will go directly to this family for them to use to ease the financial burden of a family of 8 that mourn Breyton's passing. All of the funds that have been donated will be directly deposited into the Horomona family's bank account.
After this weekend, Family and Friends will drive, train, fly and walk home and continue (as well as we can) to live our 'NORMAL' lives. But there will be no 'NORMALITY' for this AMAZING family for a short time to come.
