Keep Philani Crèche open
I'm Liezl, and I am raising money for Children of Africa's Philani Crèche project outside Lindelani . 
Evil land-owner
The local community established a crèche to protect and help babies and children from the local shanty town, where families have been torn apart by poverty, HIV/Aids. But 85 children's lives could be impacted as the owner of the land just put up the rent by 700%, and it threatening to develop the land commercially, which will mean the end of the crèche!
We would like to buy this land, which will mean a number of things:
1. We can secure the future for the crèche;
2. The crèche can then continue their expansion project which is currently on hold; and
3. We can have electricity installed!
There is a long waiting list for children who cannot currently get in. This puts them at risk, as the alternative is for them to stay home alone or be cared for by anyone who will have them. The crèche provides the babies, toddlers and kids a safe environment. Please helps us keep more kids safe!
This project is very close to my heart. It's outside the town where I grew up in South Africa: Greytown . The beneficiaries are the poorest of the poor. It's poverty at a level we cannot start to imagine in the developed world.
