Funeral Expense for Kayden Begay
$2,707 of $2,707 goal
His tragedy is not appreciated although being attacked by 12 pitbulls is very hard to take in as a mother. We have a heavy heart right now filled woth so much sadness. Although we have anger building up within ourselves but will continue to do our best for him and have im laid to rest.
The money will be used towards funeral expense and other costly expense with what is needed to have him laid to rest.
This means so much to me although nothing will replace my baby boy, however from the deepest of my heart donations will be greatly apprecieated. Im very thankful for all the kind words and donations that will be made towards this sadness.... im a mother asking for help..

For the rude people who need proof!!! Navajo Times 8 hrs · Child mauled to death by dogs By Cindy Yurth Tséyi’ Bureau WINDOW ROCK — A three-year-old boy was mauled to death by a pack of dogs in Seba Dalkai Thursday, the boy’s mother confirmed Monday. Kimasha Begay of Gallup said her son, Kayden Colter Begay, was visiting his paternal grandparents, David and Sharon Begay, in Seba Dalkai and had followed his aunt out to get the cattle when a pack of 12 pit bulls owned by the family’s neighbor, Marlinda Begay (a relation on Kayden’s father’s side) attacked him. “From what I was told, the aunt didn’t know Kayden had followed her,” said Kimasha Begay, holding back sobs. “She turned around and saw the dogs gathered around something. She went to see what they were doing, and that’s when she found my son.” Kimasha Begay said she was told the left side of Kayden’s face had been torn off and his thigh was gnawed to the bone. According to Kimasha Begay, people in the area had repeatedly complained to the Navajo Nation Rangers about the pack of dogs attacking livestock, but nothing was ever done. “They weren’t registered, they weren’t vaccinated, and they were skin and bone,” she said. “They were probably hungry.” Kimasha Begay said by the time she drove from Gallup to Seba Dalkai after she learned of her son’s death, the police and Rangers were there. “They destroyed some of the dogs, but I don’t think they got all of them,” she said. A spokeswoman at the Navajo Nation Criminal Investigations Office in Dilkon confirmed that Criminal Investigations is investigating the incident. No charges have yet been filed. The family has put up a GoFundMe page, “Funeral Expense for Kayden Begay,” to help defray funeral costs. Kimasha Begay described her son as “the happy kid who ran around shaking everyone’s hand.” “He loved to watch bullriding, and he loved to follow his nali around,” Begay said.
My heart goes out to you and your family those dogs should be outlawed and the family held responsible
Well they just put it up today so everyone needs to calm down. There was no proof until Navajo times wrote about it TODAY. Just seemed really sketchy I see these all the time.
IDK - I rather have fund directly to the funeral home. I seem to get these far to often. I am sorry for the loss of your son, however send me the name of funds to go to the funeral home and I'll make a donation towards the expenses. Also the Navajo tribe needs to take a trip around the area and euthanize those dogs, they have killed relatives dogs and cattle.
I NEVER do Go Fund Me till I see proof.
