How to Save 4 Lives

Dear Friend or Family member,

If you are receiving an invitation to this fund-raising campaign, it is because you are someone I consider to be a trusted friend, and someone who would organize this campaign yourself, were you faced with the same situation. This is not a scam or a hoax and if you doubt that, please call or email me right away. The situation is that a dear friend of mine is trapped in a foreign country where she has stayed for 4 years fighting to get her children back from her very abusive soon-to-be-ex-husband. Her husband is from an extremely wealthy family using its money and connections to control the legal system and keep her kids away from her and as prisoners in his household. These kids have no cellphones, no Internet (except on a common computer where they do homework in front of their dad) and no contact with the outside world, except when they are in school, which is owned by friends of their father and where they are bullied by the administration, teachers and fellow students.

Very influential lawyers, citizen activists and now a powerful rescue organization have gotten involved and have pledged to get my friend and her children out of the country in which they are being held against their will. In order to do this though I need to raise $20,000 to cover the cost of bringing my friend back to the US and to get started on the legal work, media outreach and other things we need to do to carry out this mission and get her kids out of there as well. If 500 of you give just $40 each we will meet this target quickly and get my friend back home here to then start working with this international relief organization. For safety reasons I cannot put more details in this message but I will give you all the info you request over the phone and can introduce you to my friend (by phone and email) and to the parties involved internationally who are going to save her and her family. They are well-known and have a success rate of 100% for their rescues of peopel trapped abroad.
