As many of you may already know, Ecuador was hit with a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake this past Saturday, April 16th.

Much of the country has been devastated with major damage. The areas that were hit hardest were left completely destroyed; buildings, overpasses, and homes have collapsed killing hundreds of people and leaving thousands homeless.

I have a lot of family that were luckily located in one of the safer areas, but have seen the destruction and need first hand. The people of Ecuador have been left without basic necessities and are desperate for help. Things that are greatly needed are water, insect repellant, canned foods, blankets, mattresses, medicine, clean clothes among other things.

My family members there have been trying to help as much as they can by sending out water, medicine, food etc, but the need is just too great and too expensive to handle on their own. Since I'm not physically there to help, I am trying to raise money for them so they could continue to provide aid to those in need. All donations will go towards care packages (which my family will assemble and deliver) and any other necessities.
