My new build

(Posting this down here because it kept cutting off the total and repositioning the image ended up making it blank for some reason)

Hi there! My name is Courtney and I've been trying to raise money for a new computer. I'm a freelance illustrator and 100% of my work is done through my computer and my current rig is slowly dying. It's incredibly finicky, the video drivers crash constantly which makes it difficult to stream art and make money.  On top of that, sometimes it'll bluescreen and will get stuck in an automatic repair loop that I haven't been able to fix a couple times without reformatting. This is a problem we (my boyfriend and I) have been trying to fix for about 3 years now to no avail. I'm finally at a point where I'm desperately needing a new computer. This current one is 8 years old and needs to be retired. 

I've been to PCpartpicker.com and I've picked out the parts I'll be needing. I'm trying to build a system that's going to last a while, like my current one, and will be more reliable so I can stream more art in the future. 

I have my doubts I'll be able to reach my goal, because I do realize to some this is a pretty frivolous thing to be asking money for, but any money received will be going entirely towards the new build. If it happens to go over, I'll be putting the extra money towards a new keyboard and possibly a new tablet in the future.

I'm going to give until the end of the month to raise the funds. If the funds are raised, I'm going to be hoping to open my Patreon back up to the public and continue working on my personal projects as well as stream more frequently.
