Cottonwood All Star Girls Softball

I'm "PhotoMom" for the Cottonwood, CA - All Star 8 -10 year old Girls Fastpicth Softball team and I'm asking for your help rasing funds for some wonderful young softball players, some of which have not played softball for 4 or 5 years and had only hit off a "T" prior to the start of this season. They are hitting the road for the 3rd weekend in a row. Here's a little about them...
This is a bit of a "Cinderella" story of sorts. On the first day of try-outs only 6 girls showed up. You can't play softball with just 6 players so this prompted a second day of try-outs. Just 4 more young ladies showed up, this gave them10 gals! We have a team Cottonwood!
This team of girls with big hearts from the small town of Cottonwood, CA , is comprised of young girls from 3 different teams who locked arms, joined hearts and played some mean softball winning the District 1 Championship Tournament undefeated advancing them to the California Northstate Regional 8-10 year old tournament July 2/3. This weekend they sustained just one loss and advanced to the Championship playoffs July 9/10. It was at this tournament that they finished with an amazing 2nd place and became just 1 of 2 Northern California teams to move on to the 8-10 division California State Tournament in Sacramento, CA. beginning July 16 and put the little known town of Cottonwood, CA on the "Softball All Stars" map! Something the Softball Association hasn't seen for nearly a decade. .
After 2 weekends on the road we have exhausted all funds we had raised for their hotel and travel expenses. Money raised by this "gofundme" account will be used for hotel, water and snacks for the team and their parents.
We are asking that all of your generous donations be made by Friday, July 15 at 10:00am prior to their departure.
This is a once in a lifetime dream for all of these bright young ladies. These girls aren't just teammates, they are friends building friendships that will last a lifetime abd sharing a dream that not everyone gets to live.
Please help, every dollar donated adds up and is so greatly appreciated by all of the girls and their families.
