Malawi Mouse Boys' roofs & schools

Donation protected
Despite having released three albums and toured the UK, USA, and Australia/NZ, the Malawi Mouse Boys continue to live in the same rural village they were born in. They subsist without running water or electricity and continue to struggle against hunger.

Three of the members subsist on less than $100 a year. Having money for seed to plant crops twice a year can make a massive difference in their ability to feed themselves and their familes.

Already, thanks to the kindness of GoFundMe donors, the Muse Boys were able to obtain a PA in Malawi for $545. They are hopeful that having this equipment will allow them to make some income performing at events and markets within Malawi. Additionally, they now have a generator to allow them to use the equipment.

Additionally, three of the members (Alfred, Nelson, and Zondiwe) now have better protection for their homes with sheet-metal versus a thatch roof. The cost of each roof was $150.

Meanwhile, the fourth member Joseph's wishes to send his son to school which costs $375 per year.

Sadly, two of the members have recently departed for South Africa in search of work, a dangerous migration as Malawians are often resented there by locals due to the competition they present for jobs.

Please help empower these wonderful artists and their families.
