Have you ever been to a 3rd-world country where the road to a village is treacherous?
This is what the community of County Line Estates goes through every day!
Hello, my name is Rhonda. My neighbors and I are hardworking but low income people and need your help. We are located just off FM 1774 right next to the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, TX. between Riley Rd. (Waller County) and Co. Rd. 303 (Grimes County). The developer made this a private subdivision, nestled between two counties, and then abandoned it.
Being "PRIVATE" means that the counties cannot help us with the astronomical cost to repair or maintain its road easements. This is a task that we are unable to achieve on our own.
Drainage culverts underneath the easements have collapsed or are exposed. We are now experiencing sheering of the existing roadbed that is creating sinkholes 3-4ft deep. Some areas of drainage are being used as a roadway because you cannot stay on the easement without going into a sinkhole.
911 emergency vehicles have a hard time reaching us, and every minute counts when lives and homes are at stake. Our major waste company canceled their service, too costly to maintain their trucks. The repairs to personal vehicles effect each household.
We desperately need your help!
The 2000 linear feet main road, Brittany Lane, is in grave need of reconstruction.
Construction costs are beyond this small community's ability.
There will be no administrative fees or hidden costs associated with this project, and all the funds raised will go directly to the reconstruction of the road easements.
No gift is too small or too large.
Please consider helping my community live healthy safe lives again.
