Sudden Medical Emergencies!
UPDATE: I am happy to announce that my mother's stolen car has been located and returned to us! It is in great condition. We are so happy to have it back.
Still, more trouble has risen for me. This month I was hospitalized for 9 days with pancreatitis they believe was caused by some of my other medications. Ironic, huh? Well, now I am literally on a liquid diet. I have very little strength and cannot eat. Managing pain right now is hard, and I'm sure I will be in and out of the hospital for a while. Please, now more than ever I need help. I cannot work in the state that I am.
My name is Victoria, and this has been one of the most difficult years of my life. I was unemployed for several months and quickly fell behind on bills. My family gave what they could, but with two other kids younger than me that they needed to support, they couldn't help as much as they wanted.I gained employment in April and have been trying to stay afloat since. However, my family has needed my help as well. I gave them what I could and helped pay anything I could, but things got more and more tight. Catching up has not been as easy as I had dreamed when I was wishing for a job, any job.This week my car broke down. I am a social worker who needs her car in order to see clients and help them. My mother loaned me her car to get by until I was able to pay for repairs, but last night it was stolen.My mother is a teacher and doesn't start teaching for another month, so for now things aren't as bleak as they will be if we cannot find her a car. My car repairs aren't going to be cheap, and while they aren't as bad as could be, and we just cannot afford this.I have a loving mother and father, Victor and Raquel McMahan, and two younger brothers, Daniel, 20, and Austin, 15. We have always relied on ourselves and this is not the first time we have been in trouble. We need your help. Anything you could give I would appreciate, no matter how big or small.
