Taylor Dockins Medical Fund

Taylor Dockins is a 2017 pitcher on the 18u So Cal Choppers. and Norco High School.  She was playing in Colorado for the IDT softball tourney and wasn't feeling well.  Friday July 1st her mom Debi and Coach Dean Fausett rushed Taylor to the ER in severe pain.  That night she was diagnosed with a possible cancerous tumor in her liver and a spot on her lung.

Last night was the biggest game Taylor had to play of her young life and again had full control. Before going into Surgery, she looked over to her dad and asked him to take a selfie with her.  She also told her Coach Dean Fausett that "she's got this B".  She woke up right after surgery and asked the surgeon team, "Did you get it out” that is one strong young lady. The tumor was successfully removed and sent out for biopsy.   Biopsy results should be back in about 4 to 5 days.

"The game of softball seems a little less important; but the fact that we are so much more than a game really puts it all in perspective. We truly are a softball family first. All of us that share in this game know the importance of coming together when it matters. Prayers do work and it's our turn to pray and support this family with as much passion as our kids play this game".  -Robert M. Hernandez

Taylor is destined to do great thing with her positive and strong attitude.  She's a fighter with a bright future ahead. Future Cal State Fullerton pitcher.

"AS YOU ALL KNOW our softball family is just that FAMILY we spend weekends with them and have grown lifelong friendships with all of them. We are praying for Tay to recover fully so she can get back on that field with her Chopper girls. It won't be the same but her girls will step up on her behalf until she is ready and back to 100%... love you Taylor, Rick and Debbie ‪#‎prayfortay#TaylorStrong ‪#‎chopperfamily#sheisaballer" - Camille Grove-Yanez

Debi and Rick are both blown away with all the amazing friends and new friends in their lives through this very tough time.   Taylor has a long road to recovery but the lanes are starting to get wider and shorter for a complete recovery.

I hope to call on the kindness and empathy of all those who are willing to support the Dockins Family.
The overall fundraising amount is for medical costs, lost wages that begin to present themselves. Thank you!
