Brent Thompson's family fund
I took DART from Plano to downtown for seven years. I remember Officer Thompson from his patrolling DART to keep us safe. I never had a conversation with him, but remember him well. I'm sick about this man's murder. Can we not, as children of God, all come together? I really don't care what color you are. We all bleed red. Please, God.... Open up the hearts of all mankind to just get over all of this racial crap. Please, God.... Please, God...... Please, God..... hear our prayers. Go to church on Sunday. Pray. Let your voices be heard. Our Father, who art in Heaven, holy is your name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven....
I am a DART RIDER and remember meeting Brent Thonpson while riding DART. He was a very pleasant and personable man. I am deeply saddened by this senseless loss and am praying for his family and all of the families of the Officers involved. May he Rest in Peace.
Because I live my life dedicated to working in public transit, I have known a lot of great people that have provided protection and security for those who depend on the trains and buses and want to ride safely to their destination. Brent Thompson did not deserve this and for all Transit Police Departments including DART, I give my thanks for your service and will gladly contribute to help his family in their time of loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who grieve.
With an opportunity to give back, Arnique's has designed a shirt to help raise funds for the family of Officer Brent Thompson. With each purchase, funds will be donated to his Go Fund Me account. With a connection to DART, Arnique's is honored to help out anyway that we can. For Oak Cliff will also receive a portion of the funds . Their aim is to help build stronger communities in which we can connect, empower, and support students and neighborhoods of all levels in Dallas. Our goal is to help unite the city. Our city can no longer remain divided, we must come together as one! #OneDallas #DallasStrong http://www.arniques.com/store/p50/Dallas_Strong.html

You will be forever missed B.T. and your sacrifice will not go in vain. You served the citizens of DALLAS County and the Customers of DART proudly. No words can truly share how I feel about this, I will say that we will see each other again in that Prefect Place and save us a seat at the table. I will Honor Brothers and Sisters like you each and everyday I put on my Blues. SMIB !!!!
This breaks my heart. My sincere sympathy to Officer Thompson's family and friends. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
