Support for Officer Zamarripa fam

$182,386 of $200,000 goal

Raised by 2,419 people in 36 months
Alex Witt
on behalf of Kristy Hoover
 DALLAS, TX
It is with a heavy heart that I even find myself typing this. I wanted to get this account started for his family so everyone who knew and loved Zam could feel confident that the money they selflessly donated would go directly to them, from a verified source.

Patrick Zamarripa was a kind, funny, loving, and heroic human being and his life was taken from us along with 4 other courageous officers in the Dallas shootings. He had an ability to make a joke about ANYTHING. He loved his Cowboys and Rangers.. He loved his country. He loved his Raven brothers in the military from DET21. Most of all, he loved all of his family and beautiful girlfriend Kristi along with their two perfect children Lyncoln and Dylan.

Please feel confident that any penny donated is going directly to help his family during these difficult times. There is not a "donation goal" I am comfortable with as there is no value on this Policeman, Soldier, father, son, and boyfriend's life. My only hope is his children grow up to see how much love people had for our friend.

Thank you everyone in advance and God bless.

Good evening -

I truly can't explain the gratitude I have for all the generosity each and every one of you have shown. This is what was seen through Zam's eyes, good prevailing over evil. All this good being shown via support for the family and amazing warm hearted comments are incredible.

I attached the funeral arrangements. Anyone who is going, please message me as I would love to shake your hand. If you cannot make it, i promise you, whether you donated $1 or $5000 you will be there in spirit with us.

Please know that YOU are one of the good ones that Zam saw.

God bless

Hi-

Again, my name is Alex Witt. I served a tour in Iraq with Zam ans stayed close with him since. I only started this to help the families have a trusted choice and place to donate. The only member of his family that authorized this, was his girlfriend and mother of his child, Kristy. I do not want to keep bombarding her during this difficult time to confirm my identity so you can all make his decision at your own discretion but I can promise you, this is as real as it
Gets.

Thanks

Guys! This is a VALID ACCOUNT. Patrick's wife kristy just confirmed it via her Facebook page!!! Sheesh! Stop saying it's not valid and let people help them!!!!!! I told myself I wouldn't post anything regarding the horrible tragedy our family has to endure but I wanted to clear something up. One of Patrick's best friends, Alex Witt, started up a gofundme with my permission. I've been told some people think this is a scam but want to ensure everyone that it is not. Alex felt the need to do something to help and since he is not in town thought this would be the best way to contribute. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of your love and support. This is something I never thought could ever happen to us. We were not done spending our lives together. Because of this disgusting display of hate, my daughter will not have her daddy to walk her down the isle and my son will not have his "best buddy" to play football and baseball with. I finally found the love of my life and now have to endure a lifetime without my lobster. Again I deeply appreciate everyone who has reached out and apologize for not responding to everyone's messages but given the circumstances, I just don't have it in me to reply right now. Thank you all!

Once again, I have this authorized with his GF Kristy directly. I am only trying to help Alex Thomas. If you know Kristy, she can verify. I am deleting them because I want the donations for his family to keep coming. Thank you to everyone who has donated. You are all wonderful people.

This was on Fox & Friends this morning. It is a valid account unlike many others that are scams. There are special places in hell for people who try to benefit financially from the tragedy of others, and there are special places in heaven for those who sacrifice all in service to our country. God Bless this man and all our veterans and first responders. Thank you to all of you for getting up and going to work each and every day! You are all in our prayers this and every day we breathe and enjoy the freedoms you help protect!

I noticed after donating that most people search under Dallas, so it's hard to find this donation page. Can the admin somehow change the city to Dallas from Palatine IL. Condolences to the family of this hero.

Me and my boyfriend, who is going through school to be an officer in Dallas, raised this money from the 5K we ran to honor the fallen police officers. Our hearts are so heavy, and we just want the families to know that we are praying for them and they are on our hearts.
