Calling all Pensacola residents and fans of Youth Track & Field! Nineteen kids from Pensacola have qualified for the Junior Olympics this August in Houston and need your donations. This little summer track program for kids 6-18 has over exceeded its expectations and its funds - Golden Elite is a not-for profit organization. The kids (over 70) represent diverse social, economic and demographic backgrounds, and attend various schools in our community. It's a chance of a lifetime to many, and your help would provide assistance with transportation, hotel accommodations, much needed equipment and food/drinks for the athletes,. These kids work out with dedication and commitment every Tuesday and Thursday for 1.5 hrs with no complaints, in over 80-90 degree weather. For many, it's their first time in a track program, and first time competing...and now many find themselves going to the Junior Olympics! Please consider donating!
