However we may know Garrett, as dedicated parent or friend; a motivator; a collegue; challenger; worthy competitor; loyal NY Yankees fan.... we all love and know how many people he touches everyday.
In October, Garrett began to experience irregular symptoms that caused him to seek medical advice.  Unfortunately, the result of that visit quickly landed Garrett and Kelly to Austin to begin a tireless effort towards winning the battle over Small Cell Carcinoma of the Bladder:

This type of rare cancer can spread quickly, and with more bad news heard in TX, they found out that it had spread to his shoulder, upper chest, and hip region.

Determined (as we would expect nothing less from Garrett) to be healthy, Garrett and his family are now seeking attention at the Cancer Center of America in Philadelphia. (and he is NOT a Phillies fan!)

Biweekly treatments of Chemo and Radiation have reduced the pain and growth of the existing tumors, but due to the nature of the cancer - the possibility of new growth is always looming.

As you can imagine, there are significant expenses involved in fighting the fight - both incurred and ongoing.
TX and PA Medical Bills: $18,000
Prescriptions: $500/monthly
Hotel & travel to/from PA for treatments: $265/day (normal visit is 4 days)

Our #1 Goal: A healthy Cancer Free Garrett
Our #2 Goal: $15,000
Anything you can offer towards helping the Green's continue their fight in getting Garrett 100% Cancer Free is appreciated.

Garrett, and the special ladies in his life: Kelly, Ryan, Tyler, Brooklyn, & Brihanna Thank you all for reading this post and consideration on how you can help!

Friends and family, I wanted to give you an update on my husband Garrett. It's with heavy heart he left this earth surrounded by family last night 7-10-2017. He is in a better place, pain free , looking over us. He will always be in our hearts and prayers. He was a fantastic man who will truly be missed. Once the celebration of Garrett has been finalized I will update you with the date and time. Thank you for all the support, prayers and well wishes. You too have been a part of Garrett's road to recovery.

Friends and family. I wanted to post an update on my husband Garrett road to recovery. In March he updated you with the tumors in the brain. I am happy to report the 10 days of radiation was a success! However, May brought us terrible news of a new tumor on the pancreas. After much debate radiation was done to the site which ended last week. As of Tuesday we have been in Loudoun hospital for severe pain and vomiting. New results show the tumor has increased in size to the pancreas and new active tumors have formed in the liver and hip bone. This aggressive cancer is trying to take over his body. Little does it know he is still fighting! Please keep my family in your prayers because miracles do happen!

Unfortunately my cancer has spread again, small cell carcinoma aggressively attacks my bones and the brain. I have small lesions on my brain that we started fighting yesterday with steroids and radiation. I'm on a 10 day cycle
and should have a full recovery minus some fatigue and soreness. With God's well and your support I will over come this setback. I have a goal to come home (Denver) and thank as many people as I can for you support, love and financial help. Until then thanks to everyone for their love and support!!
