We're a small group of Rabbit Lovers who are trying to help a population of about 200 to 300 dumped rabbits at a local elementry school.  These rabbits have no protection from predators and no medical care besides what have came out of our own pockets.  Since Oct 2015 we have been able to help 70 rabbits.  We have currently connected with an organization that will come out and spay or neuter all the rabbits for approximately $8000.  40 rabbits can be fixed in one day using their mobile unit.  It will be a daunting task trapping and recovering all the bunnies so volunteers are also much needed.  This has been a dumping sight for over two decades and finally we have a chance to really help these rabbits.  Any amount would be appreciated to help the current rabbits and save many furture generations from all the suffering.

Happy Holidays to everyone!!
Count is in for the spay and neuters for 2017 totalling 260!!! Overall count is 409!! So far we haven't seen a litter for about 6 months! I do know of about 5 that still need to fixed but they have outsmarted me everytime I've tried to trap them so thinking/hoping all the males have been done. Unfortunately we're still having a problem with dumping. Security cameras are high on the wish list. Thank you everyone!! This has been a success so far!! The buns are pretty much healthy. We feed hay and pellets everyday and greens about 4 times a week. It really feels good to be part of this project and how successful it has been. Now that the reproducing has pretty much stopped I would love for them to be placed in homes or sanctuarys to know they're safe. Please let us know if you're aware of any sanctuarys taking in rabbits. :)
Happy and healthy 2018 to all!! :)

Hey all! I caught the heart bunny plus 2 more that desperately need sponsoring to be fixed this Sunday. I had some dental issues arise at the worst timing last week. I have 3 caught right now. 1 is a youngin out of the last known litter to be born in goat pen. We did 3 of that litter last Sunday and I believe there is 3 more left. It cost us $50 a fix which is an excellent price for fixing rabbits. We've done over 375 rabbits so far. We're close but not quite there. We haven't seen any new litters but it slows down during the hot months then picks up with a vengeance in November. Would be great to have them all done by then and move on to Phase II. Finding them homes! :)

Just a quick update.
Thanks everyone for your support. With our Disney raffle we were able to get 15 rabbits spayed and neutered and pay for a much needed bottle of medacam! Today is the last day to enter raffle. 1 ticket for $10 and $3 for $25. Drawing is tomorrow after our adoption event approximately 330pm. Will contact winner by phone so if anyone enters today make sure I have contact info.
So far we have Spayed and Neutered OVER 330 rabbits and have placed OVER 150 in homes, rescues or sanctuarys! I'm estimating about 20% left to go. Wow what a difference it has made! Not only with the population control but not seeing injured or dead rabbits on a daily basis anymore!!! There's a Goat Pen and that's our problem area we are tackling now. Otherwise no babies have been born outside the goat pen in months!! Not bad for 2 1/2 acres!! Thank you all so much! Together we have saved 1000's upon 1000's upon 1000's of lives!!!! :)

Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I've done an update. We're still at it although we have stopped using Western and have gone back to our rescue vet. Unfortunately with Western the students made some costly mistakes on some rabbits costing us over $1200 in vet cost. Our vet charges us $50 to fix so we figured the extra $25 was worth it. They are in the best possible place if an emergency should happen. It's estimated we've done a total of 269 rabbits since we started. I think we've done about 75% of the adult population. Although there was litters born this year it's nothing compared to last year. What a difference we all have made! We have an opportunity to take 3 or 4 rabbits to Colorado and need to figure out how to transport them. None of us can leave unfortunately. Suggestions welcome!!
Donations welcome too. We are bone dry.

I tried to donate a very small ($3) amount earlier today, but the site didn't open correctly. I wonder if there is a problem with the link? I could possibly help with TNR. Will go to your Facebook page.

Hi Debbie, Western will be doing the TNR for us as well!! Would you be interested in working with them again? We're desperate for trappers and/or recovery volunteers. Trying to set a date for the mobile unit to come out for a week before Christmas break. They'll come again before spring. They said the can do 40 rabbits a day. I'd like to start trapping a week prior so they can also be treated with Revolution. Please join updates if interested! :)
