Family Boating Accident
$19,091 of $25,000 goal
I am providing an update as a response to many requests from this fundraiser.
I am not directly related to the persons involved but have been a close family friend for over 20 years. The funds are going directly to the father of the child in the accident. How it is used will be at his discretion, but one can only imagine the future cost in medical bills and home modifications it will take to bring his baby home.
I love that family with all my heart and at this time this is the only way I can help.
Thanks for the prayers and support.

The father is expected to make a full recovery and hopes to be released sometime this week.
Their daughter remains to be closely monitored by her many physicians but they are all very hopeful for her future. She still remains in critical condition.
The family is extremely grateful for everyone's overwhelming support. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your support. We've already begun renovations to the house to make sure she will have a safe and accessible home to come home to and that would not have been possible without all your support. They are both doing well but there is a long road ahead of us. If you would like to continue to support us we are working on a golf tournament and charity event being held Sept 24th. Again thank you!!!!!!!
Though we really don't know the family, we are sending our heartfelt prayers and blessings. Update I knew: The 8 yr old is out of her coma.
Any updates? We, here on the lake are so sad about this! Sending prayers ♥
The entire town of Skaneateles is praying for your family. You are in everyone's thoughts every day.
Our hearts go out to you and this poor baby and her family! My little girl Kada Auchmoody is thinking about her and would like to send her hugs and very well wishes. And hopes to see her again soon! And to the family, never give up, and always hold on to hope. My deepest sympathyies are with you. Stay strong!
