USA Women's Deaf Basketball Trip

Hi Friends! As a lot of you know, I have recently made the USA Women's Deaf International Basketball Team. We are planning to attend the 2017 Deaflympics that will possibly be held in Bulgaria next year (the destination is still being determined). As I am currently attending college, the cost of this experience may be a little taxing for myself and my family.
For those of you who don't know me, let me tell you a little bit about myself..... Even though I was born completely deaf and recieved my Cochlear Implant at the age of 18 months, God has always blessed me with the talent of playing the game of basketball. I started playing basketball in second grade and continue to love the sport. I scored over 1,000 points during my high school career and have been blessed to continue playing basketball for Grace College as a Lady Lancer. I was very humbled to be invited to try out for the USA Women's Deaf Basketball Team in Fredrick, Maryland, as this experience has always been a life long dream of mine. I would love the opporutnity to be able to fulfill it by going to the Deaflympics next year. If I surpass my goal of $5,000, I will use the extra money to bring my parents with me on this experience of a lifetime for extra support. I value all of your help and support in reaching my goal and greatly appreciate any monetary assistance that you are able to give. Thank you and have a Blessed day!
