This Kitty Needs Help!!

My name is Lauren and this is my cat Sambo. He's been with me since I was a child, but without help, he won't be for much longer. See, Sam has been sick for a bit now, and we can't figure out why. He has pain in his mouth and screams when he eats My mother currently has him and won't let me see him or have him. She won't pay the medical bills because she 'doesn't have enough money'. In reality she isn't paying them because he is more affectionate and cuddles up to her every day (he's doing this because he is in pain and looking for help). She has taken him to the vet to get him looked at, but he won't let the vet touch him near his mouth to check. The doctor told my mom that it could either be an infection or cancer, both of which can spread and ultimately kill him if not treated. The vet cannot tell from looking and my cat has to be put under anesthesia for the diagnosis. My mother is unwilling to pay any of this and refuses to take him back to the vet. This money will go to: -gas to drive and take my cat, as well as back and forth to the vet -supplies for him such as special food, litter box, food bowls, collar, etc. -medical bills (ie., anesthesia costs, costs for treatment of infection/cancer, medication) Please, with your help, my childhood friend will make it through this...
