Yasmin's Heart Transplant

Hi, my name is Yasmin and I am a  51 year old female who was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  I am a model of someone who did everything right: healthy eating, regular exercise, normal body weight, but a simple cold virus attacked my heart and on March 18, 2016, I was diagnosed with idiopathic cardiomyopathy and now here I am on a heart transplant list.

I wish to raise money to support myself while waiting for a heart transplant and for the three months after the heart transplant. In order to be able to receive the gift heart, I must be in the vicinity of the hospital (2 hours) and, if I am blessed to receive a gift heart, I have to remain in a treatment house for three months following the transplant. While at the treatment house, I have to pay my expenses and have a caregiver and medication   to stop rejection is approximately $1,000.00 per month. I am hoping that 6 months after my heart transplant, if not sooner, I will be able to go back to work and support myself.
