Support for Shane and Devon
Donation protected
On Thursday June 30th , Two Laborers from Local 773, Shane Hale and Devon Patterson along with two brick layers were involved in a tragic scaffolding accident while working at the Herrin Hospital.
Life Flight Helicopters airlifted both men from the site to St Louis, Mo Barnes Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN for treatment.
The injuries both men endured in the accident are extensive with several broken bones and other injuries which will require several surgeries for them both.
Recovery and rehab could be months and the cost associated with surgery and hospital stays are daunting. In addition, work will be restricted even after surgery, recovery and physical therapy.
As you know, the medical expenses and recovery time off work can be devastating.
From the Laborers family, thank you so much for your generous donation. It means so much to be a part of an organization that gives in times of need.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
