Update: Wow! You managed to hit my goal in less that 12 hours! Some of my supporters have suggested I leave this campaign live at least through the weekend, if only to give more people a chance to buy the bundle. In the meantime, I'm looking into spending a little bit of this extra money on a special thank you for all my backers!
Hi, I’m Crystal Frasier, one of Gen Con’s 2016 Industry Insiders. You probably know me from my work on the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, various Palladium Books products, or Green Ronin’s Freeport, Mutants and Masterminds, and Blue Rose lines. I’ve been writing, laying out, and creating art for games for over a decade . That’s way, way too long to have never gone to Gen Con.
That ends this year!
As you know, Gen Con is an expensive show to attend. As an Industry Insider, I’m excited to have been invited to come share my experiences, but I need some help if I’m going to get from drizzly Seattle to Indianapolis for the mother of all gaming conventions.
That’s where you come in! I can’t make it to Gen Con alone, transportation and travel expenses being the costly hurdles they are. But, with a little help from a few generous people, I could be gaming with you this summer!
Who is Crystal Frasier?
That would be me! I’m an author, game developer, illustrator, cartoonist, cartographer, and escaped titan who makes cool game products . You may have seen me on HyperRPG, Know Direction, or Game Designers Play…. If you still haven’t heard of me, I would direct you to my mother, who insists I am quite tolerable.
How will Donations be Used?
Green Ronin has generously paid for my hotel room for Gen Con, but I still need a modest sum for travel, food, and the like. If we exceed the initial goal, additional funds will go toward other con-related expenses. (Like I said, it’s my first Gen Con, who knows what might come up?!).
