Hello, my name is Kendall, but I'm not important in this story. Do you ever meet someone who is just beautiful in every way, but somehow manages to have the worst luck? You see this person and she's so confident and wonderful and talented and bold. You want the world for her and it seems like all will be well, but for some reason out of either of your abilities, it's not.
This person just so happens to be Natalia for me. She's done so much to bring me to where I am with her reassurance and her kindness. The world has given her no reward for her deeds. Due to reasons I can't disclose, she was forced to move back with her parents after starting a life for herself in Washington D.C. She aimed to finish business with her family in Saint Louis within a 2 month time frame and ended up getting stuck for 2 years in low paying jobs, unable to gain the funds she needed to leave. Her car has needed multiple repairs, leaving her with a limited amount of money. However, recently she got a new job at a popular company, and it seemed like a great fit. Sadly, it changed management and she was highly overworked and left anxious and depressed and I urged her to leave for her own health. Now, because she's without a job, her parents are chosing to be very abusive. She's being kicked out onto the streets with $11 in her pocket. When she needed them most, they turned their back.
They gave her a two week time period before they wanted her out and it's half gone. Today, she sat at Panera for the 7th day in a row, filling out applications, attempting to file for unemployment, even signing up to be an Uber driver. She tried everything to gain enough money to feel safe, to be able to get a short term apartment and be able to feed herself. She tried running around to various shops attempting to sell her most treasured possessions to gain just enough to get buy. Nothing has worked. No company has replied. And today, her Engine stalled and she hasn't the money to fix it. She needs our help. I don't want to see my favourite person with nothing. She knows no one in this city and I'm too far away. With only a week left, I would be so incredibly thankful for your assistance. The funds would go toward repairing her car and getting this girl into a place she can finally call home.
I can't let her give up. I refuse to give up on her. Help me give her the hope that she needs during a time when it seems like there's none to be had. Thank you with everything I am.
