Help my ex get to brother's funeral

Hello,
My name is Jennifer Hilliard. This is a fundraiser for my ex-partner/current roommate Rachel Waisanen. The picture is of her and her family (Mom, Dad and brother).
Last month, her brother Joe went missing. He was a veteran and had a history of PTSD and other issues. His mom reached out to the local media for help. A group dedicated to finding missing veterans got involved to help look for him.
After 3 weeks, his truck was found and a search and rescue started in the area (forest and very rural). Today they got the worst news possible. His body was found. It appears that his truck became disabled and he tried to walk out of the forest, but he succumed to exposure. An autopsy is being planned.
The reason I am creating this is to try and get the money together so she can go back and be able to bury her younger brother. She has multiple health and mobility issues and is on disability. She does not drive. She is too sick to take a bus. I am not able to take time off work and take her myself. The only viable way for her to go would be to fly.
However, where she needs to fly into (Houghton, MI) is so small that it is only serviced by one airline--United. As a result, there is no way to search for cheap airfair. Quick price searches shows a round trip ticket for 1 ranges from $400-800 depending on when it is.
The funds raised by this GoFundMe would go to buy Rachel the ticket to go back to the UP and bury her beloved brother. Any extra money would go to covering costs while she is there and go to her mother (who was living with Joe).
Even though we are no longer a romantic couple, she is a very special and important friend and confidant to me. She loved her brother so much. I feel fortunate that I was able to give her a trip home last year (when the above picture was taken) and I was happy to help her heal. If there was any way I could do this now and be able to help her say goodbye to her brother, I would. However, I can't. This would mean so much to her and to myself. Any help would be appreciated.
This is being created Friday, April 29. I am setting a deadline of 1 week (Friday, May 6). There is no date set on when the funeral will be, but I would like to get this done as soon as possible.
