In our short nine months of existence, we have already fulfilled some of our dreams: bringing a warm Tefilla, Baqashot, Te'amim, Halacha, Torah study and so much more to residents, visitors and the Sephardic community at large...
Forty members strong - and growing - parents and children alike are encouraged to take active leadership roles in the Tefilla and Torah study. Children read the Pesuke D'Zimra in shul, participate in engaging classes, enjoy a Kiddush after the Tefilla and more.
Fathers, many of whom are learned scholars, are encouraged to speak and deliver classes which allows everyone to feel integrated and involved.
Baruch Hashem, our model is proving itself and we hope to grow and set an example for more Bate Kenesset throughout the world.
