Grandpa's Waltz

My grandfather, Harold, passed away 2 months ago.  Though this was sad, it was wonderful to me that he would have the chance to be reunited with Grandma who had been waiting for him for 20 years.  The idea of their reunion helped me process.
When he died I was in the middle of choeographing a Viennese Waltz.  Instantly the choreography changed in my mind and the piece grew telling the story of that heavenly reunion.  I cried every time I worked with the dancers, and I love the piece that resulted.  I started to feel like I needed to share it.  Maybe the world could use a little more positivity and eternal perspective.
This is my third film.  My first film was a dance film that was funded by my amazing friends, and won awards.  My second film was funded by my employer, and won international awards... I grew so much between the two films and I can't wait to apply everything that I have learned to this next piece, a video of a heavenly reunion Viennese waltz. 
There are 10 couples in the piece, the choreography is done and taught.  An amazing married singing duo are going to re-record the song "Hallelujah", and they are ready to go into the recording studio.  
I have paired with the same studio that worked with me on my second film and created stunning images.  It will be filmed outdoors in a mountain meadow, and we just need your help to make it happen. 
Crowdfunding like this is changing the world.  People get to choose which projects to support, I love it.  I hope this film sounds like something worth supporting.  It's going to be a wonderful piece.
