Transition fund for Little Sister

Hello, my name is Garrett.  I am the emotional older brother to an 18 year old trans girl living with her parents in the states. Her parents are rather awful people, shes been left alone in their home without money or food often as her parents and other, non  transgender siblings, go out of town for days and nights leaving her alone and miserable.  The majority of the time she comes to me for comfort and I often find myself having to talk her out of suicide.  Im not in a financial situtation where I can help her much, and shes been unable thus far to find the means to help herself. Her 19th birthday is coming up, August 28th, and my hope is to present her with some funding to get her hormones and to visit a counsellor.

Im fully aware that her being able to start her transition wont fix her living situation, however, my hope is that when she can look at herself and not hate what she sees, she might be able to find some happiness. Im also very hopeful that with that happiness and perhaps confidence in her appearance, she might be able to have an easier time getting her life in order.  Though I dont share blood with her, Ive been her emotional support for years, and consider her more of a sister than anything, and I very much want to help her as my family.
