Cyrus was an integral part of the Trumbull Police Department. His unexpected death took the whole community by suprise. Cyrus was not only a talented police officer, he was also a beloved companion of the Carlson family. Officer RJ Carlson lost both his partner and family member in the same day. The Carlson family and the Trumbull community continue to mourn his loss. In honor of our fallen K-9 Officer "Cyrus",
donations are now being accepted by Mobile Veterinary Clinic for the purchase of an additional Trumbull Police K-9. This will include the dog and all the training necessary to protect the Town of Trumbull. Funds are needed as soon as possible so the the canine can be purchased and pre training can begin. The next training class starts in September. Officer RJ is anxious to get back into the field with a new canine partner to help keep Trumbull safe.
