Help the Murphy family

On June 20th Darryl Murphy , a hardworking ,loving, single father of two boys, passed away. He suffered a stroke , which caused a blood vessel in his brain to burst, which caused his brain to swell and him to slip into a coma , and then he passed away. Although this tragic thing happened he was able to donate his organs and give 3 people a chance to live and one person sight. And if you knew Darryl you know that what was so special about him. He always was willing to help anyone he could anyway he possibly could. He was a great man , boss, son, and most of all a great father. He was the sole parent too his five year old son and he also took care of his 90 year old mother . Now that he is gone his older son Brandon Murphy who is 20 years old is trying to step into his dad's shoes and raise his brother and take over the care of his grandmother. Braydon who is five years old has never been apart from Darryl or Brandon. When we sat Braydon down and had to tell him his daddy went to heaven it broke our hearts to see the confusion and pain on his little face. He wrapped his arms around his brothers neck and they just held each other. I would say that Brandon is helping Braydon get through this very hard moment in his life but when you look at the two of them you realize while that is true , on the other hand Braydon is helping Brandon get through this too. They have only each other now. But since Darryl died we now have to fight for custody of Braydon, against a mother that has not been in his life , who has not paid child support , or even seen him in years. These two boys are going through enough and I just do not see how ripping them apart at the time they need to cling to each other would be good for either of them. So we are asking for help any help so that he can continue to care for his brother .He has a lawyer who is willing to fight but these type of cases can get expensive, and those fees will be on top of all the other things that have just been put on Brandon, like paying for his grandma's nursing home bills, the mortgage, car payments etc. Two days ago all these things were taken care of by Darryl, now all of a sudden a 20 year old has to grow up almost over night and try to take control of all of these things. All of us that knew him knows how important his kids were to him , he worked everyday to take care of his family, and they really were his whole world. Brandon wants to make is dad proud , and he knows he can do it , he just needs a little help. So please if you are able to give, any amount will be helpful and very appreciated. If you can please share this so we can get as many people as possible to try to help Darryl's sons stay together .
