Help Jared get a prosthetic hand

Jared is a 20 year old from the greater St. Louis area, who last week had one of the worst days someone could have in their whole life.
While playing with friends they were shooting off fireworks and a mortar actually went off in his HAND!
The wick was too quick for anyones reaction time.
Jared had TWO fingers blown off that became shrapnel to the chest and face, shattering the thumb and degloving the forefinger. losing the middle and ring finger.
I am his cousin and know how hard his parents are dealing with the fact that this is how their kid will live the rest of his life. My uncle was layed of from his trade and has been doing the best he can to do things for work so this will really be a burden off everyone.
Jared's first concern is that he would not be able to play guitar ever again (which he is really amazing at) but now comes the issue of living with a mamed hand.
This money will go towards helping with medical bills that seem endless and the possibility of getting a prosthethic hand as being so young and having severe hinderence of basic activities.
As with any tragedy, when you see how it affects the family involved you want to try and do anything and everything you can to help.
ANY donations would be an immense help and would certainly go further then you know. They do not know that I have set this up hoping to just be able to surprise them rather then make them feel like they are begging which is not the case at all. I love them very much and just want to help and I know that any money raised would bring tears and smiles.
