Humble plea to avoid homelessness

Raising our children we always taught them to be grateful and be compassionate towards those with less or in need ,remembering it too could be any of us one day. Never realizing our day of need and despair was looming. Our life seems to have come under siege with relentless loss and struggles now leaving us desperate on the very verge of homelessness.I became disabled with a degenerative disorder requiring 2 major surgeries,the first caused additional issues,then my husband became ' very ill first his mental health tragically robbing him of not only his ability to work but maybe even more sadly his loss of himself and life's joy,then this spring he required hospitalization and life support as he has become seriously medically I'll all this with no assistance ,no help with life preserving medications for any of his needs and the diseases are progressive.We have been trying to maintain ourselves on just my disability of $733 per month while trying to find options and sadly he deteriorates.We own a mobile home but the land it's on is being taken from us via foreclosure due to delayed payments although we have been forthcoming about our struggles and have continued to make good faith payments bi-monthly along with late fees and extra. We're being left no option to resolve this and need to find a place and funds to at least maintain a home. I find it very difficult to share even these highlights of our difficulties but the desperation and fear is such that I am feeling deeply lost and humbled so much to reach out to others..our difficult days are heavily upon us.....with sincere gratitude and commitment to pay it forward we thank you,Tom and Becky Hixon
