Kristina Maldonado is a beautiful, sweet and active 15-year old who has been diagnosed with a very serious brain tumor. She has been in Wolfson's Children's Hospital in Jacksonville since July 9th and her initial surgery lasted an incredible 23 hours. Since then, she has been in and out of surgery due to post surgical complications. She has a very long recovery in front of her. Her long term prognosis is undetermined and she is facing possible paralysis, hearing loss and a long list of other difficulties.
Her mother, Leslie, has not left her side since the initial surgery and desperately needs our help. She raises her two kids on her own and the financial burden of this will surely be devastating.
