Ronda has been fighting Aneurysm's, heart issues, a heart attack and brain bleeds for well over 10 years now.I have known her almost my entire life and have spent much time at hospitals with her.
Ronda had her first stroke in August 2005. She then had another in August 2010 and 2 months later had her first heart surgery.
After having problems with a brain aneurysm and speech,memory,balance and much more problems I took Ronda to the Pittsburgh Hospital in February 2012 to undergo the Gamma Knife surgery.
We were very worried as this could have effected her neurologically and much more. She seemed to come through just fine and we were relieved thinking everything was behind us.
Sadly just a month later upon speaking to Ronda on the computer and phone I realized something was terribly wrong and rushed her to olean where we found Ronda had another brain bleed and was mercied to Erie. Her health began deteriorating and going back and forth.
Ronda has and will always be a fighter. She was the sole provider for her 3 children growing up and did it all on her own even through all these health issues. She has become weaker and weaker with each passing month.In September of 2015 Ronda was taken to Olean General Hospital where shortly after she had a pacemaker put in and her gall bladder removed.
Her health began deteriorating worse from there. She began becoming weaker and weaker, not being able to keep food down and loosing alot of weight. Daily chores we take for granted became harder and harder for her such as holding her beautiful grandson Bentlee without assistance from others .
In June of this year Ronda was rushed to Olean General Hospital and learned she had suffered from a heart attack. After the pace maker was put in ,her body began to reject her blood as well as its own heart. Due to her heart finally trying to fight against this her BP and HR are constantly fluctuating and going all over the palce. This is also putting her at high risk for heart failure due to her heart constantly being in A-Fib, She is in desperate need of money to cover all medical items insurance will not...such as medical equipment, a handicap shower, money to travel back and forth to specialists in Pittsburgh and Erie,legal fee's to draw up a will, and items to help her try and gain weight back. She currently has a visiting nurse and is also looking at an endoscope to help figure out why her body is rejecting food.
Ronda is one of thee most strongest woman I know. SHE IS A FIGHTER and will continue to fight daily to survive. Her biggest fear is to leave a financial burden on her children, especially Jessica her youngest who is currently still at home. She wants to make sure everything is financially taken care of if anything were to happen. Thank you all so much for your help and God Bless.
