DYLAN'S and PRESTON'S MEMORIAL FUND
FAMILY PICNIC turns to tragedy....
Dylan and Preston had every intention of having a family picnic with their 3 cousins and moms and uncle at Letchworth Park on Saturday June 11th.
But fate was not on their side... After a horrible
accident in which all 5 children were swept over
the lower falls at the park Dylan and Preston
could not be rescued. Search teams from 2
counties continued throughout the night to find
them to no avail. Sarah, the boy's mother was
taken to the hospital where she clung to her
daughter , who survived the ordeal and to the
hope that they would be found alive. But by
morning hope had diminished as the search
continued. By late Sunday afternoon Preston's
little body was recovered from the river's gorge.
The search continued for his older brother Dylan
until late Tuesday afternoon when he was discovered at the base of the falls.
Sarah and the family needs your help to put these boys to rest. They were normal active little boys with a healthy quest for adventure. Dylan loved school and was a 3rd grader at Brockport Central School, where he enjoyed sports and reading, especially "39 Clues". Preston also attended Brockport Central School and was in Kindergarten. He loved Ninja Turtles and he loved to dance! They both loved the out doors and the pool and swimming. And everyone loved them! They were smart and silly...they loved to make faces at each other and play video games. They loved their sister and their mom and nanny and papa, their grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins. They were so proud of their mom when she got her nursing degree and cheered for her in the audience. They were part of a very close knit extended family and the space they leave is the size of a universe. The pain the family feels is unbearable and we need your help.
PLEASE DONATE WHATEVER YOU CAN TO HELP THIS FAMILY AND BE ABLE TO PUT THESE BOYS TO REST....
The financial burden is staggering for this young single mother, even with help from extended family members it will be months before she can get her life back. We need your generosity to get her and her daughter Madison through this terrible time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate whatever can do, including a simple prayer.
