Cancer Fund for LGBTQ Aunt

Long before they could be legally married, they fell in love. 30+ years later, my Aunts battled cancer at the same time. 
(I am not using my Aunt's full name as she is private and would be mortified to know I am doing this again.

My Aunt H, a feisty 74-year old blonde with a heart of gold, underwent a full mastectomy two years ago. Then last year, she discovered
that cancer had invaded her nodes.  Another surgery commenced. She underwent chemotherapy battling all the while with the insurance company to cover the staggering costs of her care. 

The same week she was diagnosed, Aunt H's wife, Auntie R, discovered that she had stomach cancer. She underwent treatment but succumbed to cancer. My Aunt H lost her wife. I lost my Aunt. R.I.P dear lady. Gone too soon!

Here were are (October 2018), six months after Aunt H finished chemo and more sad news has arrived. Her cancer is back. She had a liver biopsy yesterday ($325 co-pay). Results will not come in for ten days and she has not even finished paying off her chemo treatments. She has moved to a less expensive apartment but is having a very tough time paying for food, housing and medical bills.

We raised 1,010 dollars last time. This is a new request. Hoping to at least help her pay off the chemo before she starts all over again.

My aunts were LGBT trailblazers. They lived their truth. They worked hard all their lives.

During these dark days, when discrimination and hate feel like an epidemic, let us extend love to this beautiful,
Brooklyn woman in need.  How much suffering can one human endure? I hate to know the answer. This is all I can do to help.
