Hi! My name is McLean Reid. This May, I was named to be part of the Youth Team Canada for Lifesving Sport.
Last summer, I competed in Nova Scotia for the 2015 Canadian Beach Championships. I performed very well, placing 1st in Ocean Man, 2nd in Pentathlon, 3rd in Board race and 3rd in Board Rescue Relay.
This September, the Rescue 2016 Championships will take place in the Netherlands. Funds raised will go towards travel, race fees and the training camp that takes place beforehand.
This compitition means so much to me. I have competed in lifesaving sport for much of my life and going there has always been my dream. Thank you for taking time to read this!
