Save historic Calvary Church

I am doing this on behalf of my small historic church, Calvary Church, in Churchville, Maryland and a historic landmark.  It was built by the Webster family and veterans from the War of 1812.  The church was decommissioned by the Methodists in 2014 and they abandoned the historic church, active and historic cemetery as well as the congregation.  The Methodists have now come back and have taken the congregation to court and are going to "dispose of" the church.  We need this money as soon as possible for lawyer fees and to try to come to a financial settlement with the Methodists and save the church.  This church is a piece of America pretty much untouched since 1821 with veterans from the War of 1812 and every war since buried in it's cemetery.  This church is the center of the community an provides a place for community meetings, AA, aerobics  and many other services.  People have gone to this church since before they were born as well as new memebers.  My husband is buried in the cemetery, highly decorated Army officer who died from agent orange exposure from Viet Nam.  We were married in this church and my children were baptised here.  The church will crumble with no one to take for it and I am both outraged and saddened beyond belief that a churhc with so much to still offer and such a rich history would face being torn down.  This is truly a David versus Goliath story.  Please visit our FB page: historic Calvary Church for all sorts of details of a rich Christian history too long for this platform.   I am beside myself with grief and am turning to the worl to help.  God Bless you!
