June 12, 2016 - a day that will forever be marked in my family's life as the day a senseless, hate filled crime took the life of our Jimmy. It is with great sadness, and an extremely heavy heart that I must make this request.
My name is Dee Rosario. and my cousin, Jimmy De Jesus Velazquez is now a confirmed victim of this horrific tragedy. My family spent hours praying and searching hospital after hospital in hopes that the worse wasn't going to be our reality. Unfortunately that was not to be the case.
We are at a loss for words and can't begin to understand how something like this could happen. Jimmy was a hardworking, kindhearted, funloving, kindred soul who always sought to seek the positive in any situation.
We are setting up this page in hopes to raise enough money to aid our family in preparing funeral arrangements and for transportation expenses related to getting Jimmy to his final resting place, his homeland of Puerto Rico.
We appreciate any donations you can make, either monetary or in prayers in our extremely difficult time of need.
