Hero Marine MSGT Rodney Buentello
There are few endeavors as selfless as becoming a United States Marine. This team-first mentality becomes part of every Marine's DNA, from the battlefields they serve on to the communities they serve in. Although I did not know MSgt. Buentello, he epitomized what it is to be a Marine. - Semper Fi brother
There is a destiny that makes us brothers; No one goes his way alone...may The Lord Bless You, Keep You, May He make His Heart beat in yours and gladden you home with rings on your fingers, a robe around you and a party of unending food, laughter, drink and blessings of heartfelt rest and happiness eternally brother...Semper Fi
I didn't know MSGT. Buentello but I am a 13 year and counting Marine Mom. Even though he was no longer active duty, he was still a Marine to the end. I know he he exemplified true Esprit de Corps to the end. Thank you from a grateful Marine Mom and from a grateful Nation. Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful)
I didn't know him as well as most of you did. I played a couple seasons of softball for him, he was the Coach of one of the base teams in Iwakuni, Japan. To me, he was Coach B. He had a way of getting the best out of everyone, and leaves behind a legacy of young men and women that are better from knowing and learning from him. Rest easy, Coach B. With Great Respect, Frank M. #33
I am so saddened for the loss of this husband, father, son, HERO. I know the teens he saved and their families will be forever grateful. I wish I could have donated more, but funds are something I just don't have right now. I am happy to see the goal has almost been met and I pray if well continues to grow to assist his wife and children through such a difficult time ahead. God Bless MSGT Rodney Buentello and his family.
I did not know Marine MSGT Rodney Buentello but he was a John Jay High graduate which makes him family in our community. I have asked family and friends to contribute and I will contribute myself before the end of this month. MSGT Buentello risked his life for someone in trouble and I will give what I can to honor him for his brave and selfless act of love for people. Much prayer and hugs to the family. I pray that you reach your financial goal very soon.
