T'Angelo Magee Recovery Fund

Family and friends know Staff Sergeant T'Angelo Magee as the fun, easy-going, life-of-the-party who is quick to offer a smile or share a story.  He is always the first one to dance at a party and always willing to face (and win) a challenge.

Following the premature passing of his mother, Sergeant Magee enlisted into the Army as a teenager.  Through the military he learned discipline; he experienced brotherhood and gained a sense of purpose and direction.

This year Sergeant Magee began a new chapter in life as he became a father to a beautiful baby girl.  Born two months pre-mature, his daughter worked double-time to develop and grow, but with her parents constant love and attention, she thrives and is her father's joy.  Sergeant Magee and his fiancé were set to marry in a highly anticipated ceremony in July, and all was well as the pieces of his adulthood came together.  As a member of the National Guard unit in Harlem, the 369th Sustainment Brigade, he was prepared to deploy to the Middle East in August, and was comforted with the knowledge that his wife-to-be and child would be at home, lovingly awaiting his return.

On June 6th, all of these plans and dreams came to a halt.  As he was driving to his Allentown home, his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle and his body was thrown roughly 25 feet from the collision resulting in catastrophic injuries.  He is currently awaiting spinal cord surgery at the trauma center at Lehigh Valley Hospital and in need of all of the prayers and support that we can offer.  Please make a pledge to assist T'Angelo and his young family as they face the challenging days ahead.
