Out of The Blue Community Arts inc., a 501 (c)3 organization focused on the performing arts residing within Out of the Blue Too, Gallery & More.
For nearly 20 years Out of the Blue Gallery has been supporting the Arts in Cambridge, Ma. and the Boston metro area. As a 501(c)3 organization, Out of the Blue Community Arts, your tax deductible contribution will support a wide range of performance art from music, dance, spoken word and many other forms of creative expression.
With the closing of seveal local venues, it is more imperative than ever to keep the Arts alive in Cambridge.

So...
this is our first attempt to figure out this non-profit thing. It shouldn't be too hard..we've not made profit in almost 20yrs. BUT we are here and it's real. Out of the Blue Community Arts,inc. is a performance oriented 501(c)3. One of our long range goals is to be able to fund the variety of performance shows that happen here through grants, funding, and donations. It won't happen overnight..and it won't happen here..but here is where we are starting. Below is a rough estimate on some basic costs, just to give an idea of what those are.
Rent per year...$120,000
gas/elec................$6,000
phone....................$1800
insurance................$800
fire alarm................$600
entertainment
licenses.................$1500
and theres more....$$$$$
and least we forget, the in kind donations of time money heart and soul of many people over the years
