Mel's Terminal Cancer Family Fund
Melanie Hipsher is a FIGHTER. As a young woman, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She fought and survived. She then joined the Navy and served her country. Having a life goal of helping others, she left the Navy and put herself through nursing school as a single mom of two beautiful boys, Jayden and Dakoda. After she graduated nursing school, she worked as a nurse and met the love of her life, Robby. God blessed them with two beautiful little girls, Lexi and Tatum. Unfortunately, while pregnant with her fourth child, Melanie was given the devastating diagnosis that she had tripple negative breast cancer, a very aggressive form of cancer that has developed quickly into stage 4. Despite her best efforts, the cancer has spread to several places throughout her body including her liver, lymphnodes and most recently, her cerebral spinal fluid.
Melanie has undergone several surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy in an effort to spend as much time as possible with her husband and four children, ages 11, 10, 4, and 2 years old. Unfortunately, Melanie has been losing her battle against cancer, and has been given the news that her time is limited. Her go fund me account has been set up to help the family make special memories this summer while Melanie still feels up to small outings, and while the kids are out of school. The account will also help offset the many expenses incured due to medical bills, and gas expenses while driving to Los Angeles for her medical care.
Her husband Robby and their four small children will have to adjust to life without their mother and the paycheck she brought in as a nurse. Financial help to cover funeral expenses, the mortgage and other family needs would be a huge blessing.
Please consider blessing the Hipshers this summer by helping to make positive lasting memories for her family and giving them a greater financial peace as they come to grips with the sad reality they are facing. The family greatly appreciates the prayers, donations and support of the community!
May God be with You and Your Family always. Our continued prayers forever. Annie Paustell, Pamela and Family
