On my way to be Homeless in Seattle

So, I am going to be driving my car over the Rockies to Seattle.  A likely expensive trip in regards to gas cost.

I'll be homeless for awhile, but at least I'll be able to live out of my car this way. I've been researching about public places to shower such as getting a cheap gym membership so I can use their showers and changing rooms.

I'm going to see if my contact is still willing to give me a job as a Barista. If so I can start saving for first and last month's rent at some low end apartment or something. I'm also looking into Kelly Services in case that falls through. Until I get my own place I have a friend up in the region who's willing to let me use their address for my applications.

Honestly, I'm terrified, yet maybe not in a bad way. Leaps of faith are always scary, especially one with so little of a safety net if there even is one. Yet... I've been wanting to get to Seattle for ages. It's just time.

At the very least I would be where I want to be. Even if I have to rough it for awhile. My main concern is if my car will make it over the mountains and making sure gas doesn’t Bbreak my bank before I even get there.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I'll also be doing quick and cheap arts commissions for people over this month. My last chance to do so really as I don't know when I'll have access to my computer again.
