Hi, my names Troy, 8 months ago I went to a My Little Pony convention for work. While there, I met one of the community guests by the name of Joey-0. He's most known for his MLP series called "Pony Meets World" which had attracted a good amount of fans and earned him love and adoration. We hit it off immediately and became friends. After the con was over, we kept in touch through Facebook. Unfortunately, I recently found out Joey was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. He explained in detail what he has been going through and how he has to miss out on BronyCon and meeting his fans because of it. So my girlfriend Leah and I created this fund with the purposes of helping with his steadily rising medical bills and with hopes that we can at least get him from Florida to Milwaukee to attend Ponyville Ciderfest this October so he can be with the fandom that he loves with his whole heart. We want Joey to be given the pony-rockstar treatment he deserves during this unfortunate time in his life. This man has inspired me to keep striving for my goals, and never give up and I wish to do the same for him.
On top of this, as an incentive, my wonderful girlfriend is offering (optional) perks for donating certain amounts!

"Hello everyone my name is Joey Oropesa, you may know me as Joey-0 or you may really know me as the creator of Pony Meets World, the My Little Pony friendship is Magic fan series on YouTube within the fandom of the Brony community. I've created Pony meets world in 2014, it's a MLP in real life series or PIRL. Ever since the creation of my series, I fell in love with the brony community. The fandom is just the most amazing thing that's came into my life with so much support and so much care and so much love. My life goal was always to inspire and make those laugh in the film's I create. I'm happy to say it's finally happening and nothing warms my heart to make people smile.
As 2014 past, the YouTube channel continued to grow with excitement.
As we came into the year of 2016, i ran into very sad unfortunate news. In early February I was diagnosed with cancer. This took a very Terrible toll on my life and continues to do so at this very present moment. I would never imagine this would happen to me. This has put a complete halt on my YouTube Channel, forcing me in unemployment, stopping everything my life. Later within the month, I was admitted to the hospital for further treatment. Later within the weeks, i began treatment of chemotherapy. Chemo has made a very strong impact on my body and features. I used to weigh 172, and now weighing 140 and dropping. I have been through the most severe pain in my whole entire life and continue to do so. I have lost all my hair, I have lost all my muscle, I can't walk. the chemo has caused me fatigue, body weakness, painful ringing of the ears, intense nausea vomiting, dry skin, terrible eyesight, sensitive to light, insomnia, pain in parts of the body Non-Stop.... and the list goes on unfortunately. To this very present day I continue to fight this cancer and continue to fight for my life.
Everyday my life is on the line and I fight as hard as I can to have just another day and a whole lot more.
I now ask for your help. My diagnosis has put me in a very terrible position. At this point anything helps me, whether it's a dollar that was given to me to a shout out telling me "you are strong you can fight this" or spreading the word and letting people know of my situation. medicine is one thing but the love and care and support of a human being is another, that's where you can make a difference. I ask for the help of anyone and everyone in my most difficult times in this moment of my life. It would honestly break your heart if I told you how many times I have been to the hospital to the ER for the fever's I have been getting non-stop because of my low blood levels and low white blood cell levels, it's terrible frown emoticon
Please, in these very hard times I ask for your help in any possible way. Spreading the word and letting others know of possibilities and help for my situation is a blessing to me.
You all mean the world to me and I want to continue living on to make this world inspirational to all of you. to continue making smiles, to continue making the ones that feel lonely not alone anymore, to continue making the ones who are under bully and depression, to change their lives, to inspire those and all to continue following their dreams and talents and let no one tell them otherwise.
This is not a fandom we are in.... this is a family, and a beautiful family this is. And as a family we are always here for each other.
as long as I am still standing strong fighting this cancer and with the possible help and support I can receive from you all, I will always be here for the beautiful bronies everywhere."
