Quad amputee needs new legs
Donation protected
Hello my name is Patrick Davis and last year I encountered pneumococcal pneumonia which turned into septic shock and I lost most of my limbs. Below my knees and below my elbows were amputated. I was on a respirator for 2 months and given a 1% chance to live by the doctors. I have kidney failure and I'm on dialysis three days a week. After 8 months in the hospital I am back home and I'm trying to live a normal life. I am in serious need of a new set of prothetic legs as i cannot tolerate having them on for longer than a few hours. I also cannot drive due to my artificial legs, but I can use adaptive controls to be used with my hooks. If I had these I would be able to take a job and be a productive member of society. I am trying to get back to a normal life as I am bowling now, painting and walking around the block . I would also be able to take my 8 and 10 year old kids to and from school. If you could find it in your heart to donate please do so. Thank you.
