Bhante Dhammapala is an ordained Bhikkhu (Buddhist Clergy) who travels, mostly in the Midwest, helping others and teaching the way to peace and happiness. At 70 years old he is still going strong with a full schedule of events to attend.
On the Sunday, May 29, 2016, our 14 year old Honda Element was "totaled" in an accident. We have since acquired a 2005 Dodge Durango, which should nicely meet our needs for transportation for the next few years.
However, this vehicle gets only about 15 miles per gallon, so we need continuing support to keep gas in the tank. Also, over the few months we’ve had it, we have had about $2500 of maintenance and repairs done. We drive about 1800 - 2000 miles a month, so it will soon be time for an oil change.
We will be most thankful for any assistance you can provide.
