Marco's Vet Bills - Vicious Attack

Marco is a four year old Dogo Argentino. He's been my best friend from the moment he came into my life, and is such a good well-mannered dog that loves other dogs and people alike. He has become a true inspiration of strength and courage throughout this traumatic experience, and is a testament to the resiliency of his tough breed.
Marco was viscously attacked by five of my neighbors dogs last Tuesday. The five neighbor dogs entered my home after digging under our fence. All five dogs of unknown breed attacked Marco in his home, streaking blood, feces, and urine everywhere in the process. Fortunately my other neighbor was home during the attack and called me immediately. But unfortunately I was unable to arrive in time to stop the attack. When I arrived the damage was done. Marco was standing in shock covered head to toe in gushing wounds inflicted by the other five dogs. He sustained deep lacerations to his left front leg, large bite marks/scratches all over his body, and a complicating ear puncture/infection that has been difficult to control. Truely an unfair and traumatic experience for us all.

I do not blame the dogs for the attack. This event could have been avoided had the neighbor taken better care of his dogs and his property. The dogs exhibit aggressive behavior because their owner is negligent and has not given them an opportunity to live life as well adjusted dogs.
To add insult to injury, the neighbors have not been cooperative and they have yet to apologize. I have since filed a case with Oakland Animal Control. So far OAC has enforced the three dog limit city limit on the property and they are undergoing potentially dangerous dog hearings for the remaining dogs to protect other people and their pets from potentialy encountering a similar situation.
I'm raising money to cover Marco's current vet bills amounting to $4700 from an emergency vet visit including an overnight stay, for future vet treatments he will encounter during his recovery, and for legal counsel in this matter. Anything helps at this moment while I'm paying out of pocket before litigation starts. I don't have much money saved for emergencies like this, so floating Marco's vet expenses has been a financial hardship. I don't want to make any compromises with his recovery either.
I'm very thankful to anyone who can afford to make a donation. Please help Marco!
