Help Us Fund A Future

Donation protected
That future we speak of is that of Dishea Lightfoot. I am an underprivileged 14 year old male, currently living in Camden, New Jersey. I have always believed that through my knowledge, I would rise up from the streets of Camden and push for a better education. I dream of one day becoming a neurologist, in hopes of finding a cure to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. I’m praying that this will come to fruition with your help.

The first and most pivotal dream of mine was to attend one of the top 25 private schools in America. Through A Better Chance, a program designed to help minorities get into the top schools in the nation; on March 10, 2016, I received a scholarship to The Peddie School . The Philly Voice has written articles (1 ) (2 ) throughout my journey.

Peddie is a great expense for my family. My scholarship does not include school supplies, sports equipment, books, money required for trips, nor necessities. So I am asking for help to cover the things that I will need for school. In order to obtain the necessary funds to achieve this, I am seeking help from my family around the world to help support my dream of becoming a Neurologist. The deadline is August 15 for the books and the other things required by Peddie.

Thank you for your time and your generosity.
