As many of you know, I was honored to be elected to the Democratic National Convention's Credentials Committee, representing my adopted home state of Wyoming.
Here's the tricky part. As you can guess, traveling to Philadelphia from Wyoming during a gathering of over 5,000 people is expensive.
The money I raise via GoFundMe will go directly to my travel expenses to get me to Philly, the shared hotel room with the rest of the Wyoming party, and food for the four days I'm required to attend.
****IN ADDITION: Any amount raised over $1500 via the GoFundMe page, my Wyoming bison t-shirt sale, and via scratch-off tickets will go 100% to NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) of Campbell County. The donation will be made after July 31st.****
I know that this is a lot to ask of anyone, especially my friends and family. But I hope you see this as someone going after her dreams. I hope you see this as the rare opportunity to be present during a major moment in our country's history.
